Product Description

Lace up in the fresh 112's to stomp on the haters of progression. These combine OG vulc construction with a high level impact sole that doesn't pack out over time, resulting in all around ideal kicks for prolonged skate sessions. The Duracap upper reinforcement extends the life of these shoes. This is the exemplary mid height that protects the ankle from board collision without limiting ankle mobility.Features

Sole

Vulcanized -“Vulc” shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. The sole consists of several layers of rubber, glued together then attached to the upper with rubber foxing tape. Vulcanized soles don’t provide as much foot protection or support as cupsoles, but they are preferred if you’re looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.Details

Original Waffle Outsole -Back in '66 Paul van Doren made the first soles of his new shoes twice as thick so they would wear longer. That decision ended up defining the company when the world's first skateboarders discovered how Vans' Waffle Outsole let them feel their board while staying firmly connected to it.

Duracap -Vans shoes with Duracap feature reinforced rubber underlays in the areas where your shoes wear out the fastest. Durcap was developed and tested to withstand the abuse of the Vans pro skateboarding team, and gives you added durability even if you skate daily.

UltraCush HD -Vans' polyurethane-based UltraCush HD sockliner keeps the foot close to the board yet won't pack out over time, providing the highest level of impact cushioning.
